$1.99 “Like binge-watching a great British drama on Masterpiece Theater.” I agree! Great historical mystery and drama, set during World War II on a British Estate and local village. I listened to this on audible to get the full enjoyment of the British accents!

$1.99 Outlander! “Unrivaled storytelling. Unforgettable characters. Rich historical detail.” So true! The characters are what make this book series, that and the Scottish dialect! Jamie Fraser is good and honorable, trying to navigate a time of upheaval and war in 18th century Scotland. Add in Clare, catapulted to 1743 from Post War 1943. So good! One word of warning, the author does tend to describe marital intimacies, so skip those parts if you need to! The rest is too good not to read.
